By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

User Accounts

Registration, security, and account responsibilities

Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You are liable for all activities that occur under your account

Account Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • Accounts are for individual use only and cannot be shared
  • Institutional accounts require verification of affiliation
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

Manuscript Submissions

Rules and responsibilities for authors

Original Work

  • All submissions must be original work not previously published
  • Simultaneous submissions to multiple journals are prohibited
  • You must have permission to use any third-party content included in your manuscript
  • All authors must meet authorship criteria and approve the final version

Ethical Standards

  • Research involving human subjects must have ethics committee approval
  • Animal research must comply with institutional and international guidelines
  • Conflicts of interest must be disclosed
  • Plagiarism in any form will result in immediate rejection

Publication Rights

  • Upon acceptance, authors grant us a license to publish and distribute the work
  • Authors retain copyright under our open access policy
  • We reserve the right to edit manuscripts for style and clarity
  • Accepted manuscripts may be withdrawn before publication only under exceptional circumstances

Peer Review Process

Guidelines for reviewers and editorial decisions

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer review process
Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and recuse themselves if conflicts exist
Editorial decisions are final and based on academic merit, originality, and relevance
We do not guarantee acceptance of any submitted manuscript
Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, unbiased feedback within agreed timeframes

Fees & Payments

Article processing charges, refunds, and payment terms

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

  • APCs apply only to accepted manuscripts in open access journals
  • Fees are clearly stated on each journal's website and are due upon acceptance
  • Invoices are sent to the corresponding author after acceptance
  • Payment must be completed before final publication

Refund Policy

  • APCs are non-refundable once publication has commenced
  • Refund requests before publication are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • No refunds for manuscripts withdrawn after acceptance
  • Processing fees, if applicable, are non-refundable

Intellectual Property

Copyright, licensing, and content usage

Copyright

  • Authors retain copyright of their published work under CC BY or similar open licenses
  • We claim no ownership of your original content beyond the rights granted for publication
  • Third-party content used with permission remains the property of its owners

License to Publish

  • Authors grant us a license to publish, reproduce, and distribute the work
  • We may use published content for indexing, archiving, and promotional purposes
  • The license is worldwide, perpetual, and royalty-free

User Content

  • You retain ownership of content you post on our platforms
  • You grant us a license to display and use your content to provide our services
  • We are not responsible for content posted by users

Prohibited Conduct

Actions that violate these terms

Attempting to manipulate the peer review process
Plagiarism, data fabrication, or other research misconduct
Harassing, threatening, or abusive behavior toward staff or reviewers
Uploading malicious code or attempting to compromise system security
Impersonating another person or providing false information
Violating copyright or intellectual property rights

Disclaimers & Limitations

Warranty disclaimers and liability limitations

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
We are not responsible for decisions made based on our published content
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Termination

Suspension and termination of accounts

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
You may delete your account at any time through account settings
Upon termination, certain rights and obligations survive
Published content remains accessible as per open access policies

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in New York, New York, and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Journal Publisher regarding your use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
